Harry Johnson


Harry Johnson (#107) and Caroline Woodfield (#108)

Harry was born on the 30th of November 1863 at the back of 21 Legge St., Birmingham and died 
circa 1944. Harry was he son of Charles Johnson (#243) and Fortune Anne Price (#244).
Caroline Woodfield (#108) was born on the 9th of April 1862 in Milton St., Birmingham and 
died circa 1945.  Caroline was the daughter of John Woodfield (#245) and Mary Parkes (#246).
Harry and Caroline were married on 9th November 1889 in St. John's, Perry Barr which was 
(at that time) in Staffordshire.

Their wedding was conducted, after banns, by Robert Raven Young, Curate of Hamstead, and 
witnessed by James Wilkins and Jane Webb.

Harry was working as a Spring Forger at the time of their wedding and his occupation was 
given as Coach Spring Maker on the birth certificate of Ernest.

Caroline had been married before, to a Mr Harris. 
Caroline had a son by Mr Harris.
     i    William Harris (#170) known as Brother Bill.

Harry and Carolines children: 
     ii   Ernest Johnson (#35) was born on 1st of May 1890.
     iii  Amy Johnson (#168).
     iv   Edward Johnson (#42).
