John Vick

John Vick (#430) and Elizabeth Belbin (#431).

John was born in Christchurch sometime around 1817 as his marriage certificate gives his age 
as 'fullage' (21 or over) in 1839 and the 1861 census gives his age as 44.  He was the son of 
Henry Vick (#460) and Mary Ann Spickernell (#461).  
Elizabeth was born sometime after 1819 as she was a 'minor' at the time of the marriage.  
As she does not appear on the 1861 census, it is presumed that she died before 1861.

John and Elizabeth were married on the 22nd of September 1839 in Christchurch Parish Church.

John worked as a Shoemaker.

    i    Eliza Belbin Vick (#567) was baptised on the 13th of March 1840 in Christchurch.
    ii   Emily Vick (#429) was born on the 14th of September 1841.
    iii  Eliza Belbin Vick (#568) was baptised on the 15th of January 1847 in Christchurch.
    iv   Alice C Vick (#641) born circa 1852 in Christchurch.
