John Green

John Green and Harriet Thorne

John and Harriet were both born before the 2nd of July 1847 as their wedding certificate gives both
ages as 'full'.  John was the son of James Green.  Harriet was the daughter of James Thorne.
The marriage took place on the 2nd of July in Hindon, Wiltshire.  The certificate shows that John was a 
widower.  
They were married after banns by William Miller and their witnesses were John Howill & Margaret Hayter.

John worked in the building trade.  Their wedding certificate shows his occupation as Mason but
when Lois was born his occupation is given as Stonemason Master.  At the time of Lois's wedding
his occupation was given as Builder.

On Lois's Birth certificate Harriets name was given as Harriott.

Lois's marriage certificate of 25th Oct 1891 also shows that John had died before that date.
